Bangladesh has joined the information super highway through the submarine cable. This is good news for the people who depend on the internet or enjoy net facilities. Like others, I was also excited about the development but the result I got is zero. The students of Dhaka University (DU) are not able to enjoy the net facilities properly. We have a cyber centre at the TSC run by the university authorities, but it is in poor shape now. I hope the DU authorities will soon take the necessary step to install the needed facilities at the centre.
