7695 selected as asstt teachers
A total of 7695 candidates have been selected finally as assistant teachers of government primary schools against the 7995 vacant posts, says a press release. The Directorate of Primary Education published the result yesterday. A total of 37,384 candidates passed the written test held on December 1, 2006. The candidates were selected on the basis of their written and viva voce marks. The result will be sent to all district primary education offices soon for proper display on the notice boards. Besides, the result will be available at the website (www.dpe.gov.bd), said the press release signed by acting director general Ratan Kumar Roy.
