Factory worker electrocuted

A worker of a shoe factory was electrocuted at Bibir Bagicha of Demra in the capital yesterday.Police said Kalam Sheikh, 28, son of Abdul Jabbar, came into contact with a live electric wire while he was switching off a machine at his factory at about 11:00am, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital but the doctors declared him dead.
