Citigroup South Asia head due today
Sanjay Nayar, area head of Citigroup South Asia and chief executive officer of Citigroup India, is expected to arrive in Dhaka today on a two-day visit, says a press release. During his visit, Sanjay, who is also a member of the global management committee of Citigroup, is scheduled to meet senior government officials, major clients of the bank and explore further growth opportunities for Citigroup in Bangladesh. He was previously global sales head for Fixed Income Emerging Markets business with Smith Barney in New York and also held various positions in the Corporate and Transaction Bank, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets business in Citibank in the UK and India.
