According to ZFCL sources, the authorities stopped functioning of the factory at about 7:30 pm Friday following detection of leak in the vital high pressure Scraver tube.

They said repair work started yesterday and may take two to three days.

The factory stopped rumbling at least 18 times during the current financial year due to mechanical trouble, sources said.

It incurs a production loss of 1400 tonnes of Urea a day.
