"I'm going to be leaving for Qatar at the beginning of next week and all that's left to be done is sign the contract," the 20-year-old Velez Sarsfield striker disclosed to the press here on Saturday.

His agent said the two-year deal "was not ideal in footballing terms but it will give him and his family financial security."

The young attacker has been picked to play for his country at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Canada from June 30.
