Formalin in foods

I am really thankful to Magistrate Rukonoddowla, who identified the recent use of formalin in preserving fruits, fish and vegetables.Formalin can be a major cause for the occurrence of dangerous diseases like cancer. As far as we know formalin is usually used to preserve dead bodies. Formalin is available only in hospitals and clinics and not in markets. The question is, since it is only available in hospitals, then how does it come to the market? The government must find out the culprits who are behind sale of such deadly medicines and take stern action against those shopkeepers and morgue people.
