Regrettable

Shame on our growing mentality of borrowing and getting affected by alien cultures. I pay my deepest tributes to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for preventing our mother tongue from being replaced by that of the Pakistanis in 1952. But now it seems that their supreme sacrifice is forgotten. We are no longer satisfied with our own culture. Only for a few specified days some indigenous cultural events are arranged with gaga programmes. Let's be proud of being Bangladeshis and practise our own culture wholeheartedly. And let's have a ban imposed on alien satellite channels.
