Restriction again on entry to Sudha Sadan

Restriction was imposed again yesterday on entering Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina's residence Sudha Sadan.

None excepting relatives and personal staff of the AL chief was allowed to enter Sudha Sadan from 2:00pm yesterday.

Earlier, similar restriction was imposed after two extortion cases were filed against Hasina on June 13. It was however relaxed later.

AL Presidium Member Motia Chowdhury, who was among the leaders barred from entering Sudha Sadan yesterday, termed such restriction 'undemocratic' and 'disappointing'. It is an ill attempt to isolate Sheikh Hasina from party leaders, activists and the people, she said.
