No taskforce to be assigned to probe Hasina's extortion cases

Communications adviser and the chairman of the national coordination committee on checking serious crimes MA Matin yesterday said no taskforce would be assigned to investigate the cases against Awami League Chief Sheikh Hasina.Matin termed the cases 'extortion' cases, not 'corruption' cases, while responding to the reporters' queries. When asked whether the government is forcing political parties to reform, the adviser said, "It is not a matter of coercion. I don't know whether the government has any intention to impose it."
