This year's theme of the day is "A New Home, A New Life".

To mark the day, the Refugee Counseling Service Unit (RCSU) of Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust, an implementing partner of UNHCR, will organise a programme here for urban refugees and asylum seekers.

The programme includes documentary show on refugee issues and cultural events to be staged by refugees.

Legal Education and Training Institute (LETI) of Bangladesh Bar Council will organise a daylong training for lawyers, which will be followed by a discussion, titled "Refugee challenges in Bangladesh".
