A total of 16 paddlers (16-20 years) have been selected for the residential camp to be conducted by local coach Hafizur Rahman at the Woodenfloor gymnasium. The players are Rimon, Rocky, Shovon, Helal (Biman), Hasib, Nasir, Rana (Ansar), Jobed, Rabbi, Rahat (Gaibandha), Rubel (Narail), Regan (Chitatgong), Kamruzzaman (Dinajpur), Shakil (Habiganj), Palash and Shariful (Dhaka).

The National Sports Council has provided half of the total 2-lakh taka budget.

The three-week long camp will be inaugurated by acting sports secretary Dr Golam Mostafa Talukder.
