DCC names road after FF Sabu
Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) renamed the road from Arambagh Police Box to Kamalapur Station and from Rajarbagh intersection to New Circular Road at Motijheel Colony as "Muktijoddha Mesbah Uddin Ahmed Sabu Sarak" in recognition of his outstanding contribution during the liberation war, says a press release. He was a valiant freedom fighter and founder of various welfare organisations. DCC Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka will unveil the name plaque of the road at 12:30pm on June 24 opposite the Arambagh Police Box.
