'Thai growth to return after political strife resolved'

Thailand's economy will return to the fast track once the country resolves political uncertainty from the ouster of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Finance Minister Chalongphob Sussangkarn said Sunday. Speaking at the World Economic Forum on East Asia, Chalongphob expressed hope that general elections to be held in November would help calm the political situation, which in turn would increase confidence in the economy.
