"Swapnodanay" and Golam Rabbany Biplob awarded

Bangladeshi film Swapnodanay has been honoured at the Shanghai International Film Festival. For the film, Golam Rabbani Biplob has won the Best Director Award in "Asian New Talent" category. Impress Telefilm Ltd -- producer of the film -- and Rabbany have received a crest and USD 20,000 at the festival. Impress Telefilm Ltd will receive an amount of BDT 30 lakh if they shoot a film in China. Swapnodanay was screened at the Grand Theatre in Shanghai on June 22, as part of the festival. Rabbany and Faridur Reza Shagor, managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd and Channel i, received the award at the festival. Mahmuduzzaman Babu, Rokeya Prachy and Fazlur Rahman Babu have played the lead roles in Swapnodanay.
