Dom-inno MD, two others arrested

The army-led joint forces yesterday arrested the managing director and two other top officials of Dom-inno Development Limited, a property developing company, for forgery in constructing buildings. The arrestees are Dom-inno Development Limited Managing Director Abdus Salam, Director Abdul Matin and Engineer Mahmud Hasan. The crack forces, who are investigating corruptions in Rajuk, told the three in the noon over phone to come to the Rajuk office. The joint forces arrested the three as they entered the Rajuk Bhaban, sources said. Later, the arrestees were handed over to Motijheel police where a Rajuk official filed a case accusing them of forging design. Rajuk officials said Dom-inno Development Limited continues work of its around 50 projects most of which have no Rajuk approved designs. The company is carrying out work in the projects using fake seals and signatures of the Rajuk officials, they added. The joint forces detected the forgery verifying some documents of the property developing company.
