ACC secretary to join BCS Admin Academy

Delwar Hossain, secretary of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), left his post yesterday to join as director general of Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy following an administrative reshuffle in the anti-graft body.Delwar hit the headlines when he, in the absence of ACC chairman and commissioners, issued notices to 50 corruption suspects of the first list for submitting their wealth statements. He was transferred to the new position on May 29 and Chittagong divisional commissioner Mokhlesur Rahman was appointed ACC secretary in his place. Delwar could not join his new post until 2:00pm yesterday as Mokhles did not take up his new assignment due to the exigencies of disaster in Chittagong. Later, he gave the charge of ACC secretary to director general (Admin) Col Hanif Iqbal.
