Stan Chart assumes non-immigrant fee collection
Standard Chartered Bank will take over the fee collection responsibilities for non-immigrant visa ($100 in Taka equivalent) for the United States of America with effect from Monday, says a press release of the US Embassy in Bangladesh.Non-immigrant visa fees will no longer be accepted at Citibank NA while Gulshan branch of Standard Chartered Bank will assess a processing fee of Tk 100 plus applicable VAT as a service charge. The opportunity to process non-immigrant visa applications and to schedule visa interview appointments at Saimon Overseas Limited will remain unchanged but there will be an enhancement of their service fee which will be Tk 550 with effect from Monday. Saimon Overseas Limited is located at Saimon Centre, House 4A, Road 22 at Gulshan 1 in the city.
