BOU treasurer AKM Rohul Amin Akanda placed the budget at the 92nd meeting of Board of Governors held on Thursday with Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Farid Ahmed in the chair.

In this budget, Tk 50.96 crore has been allocated for revenue expenditure while Tk 6.73 crore for development expenditure under the revenue head, said a BOU press release.

Of the total amount, University Grant Commission (UGC) will provide Tk 19.20 crore as government grant and Tk 38.50 crore will come from its own resources.

The meeting also approved the revised budget of Tk 56.20 crore for the fiscal 2006-07.
