Raju Alim receives "Rtv CGFB Performance Award '06"

TV producer Raju Alim recently received the "Rtv CGFB Performance Award-2006", held at Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre. The jury board selected him for the Critics' Award. The award was recognition to Alim's admirable works on TV in recent times. Managing director of Rtv, Abu Mohammad Sayeed, handed over the award. Raju Alim has been working as a producer at Channel-i for the last eight years. He has also directed some TV programmes including Barsharater Nupur Dhoni (an adaptation of Shamsur Rahman's work) and Shundaritama that received much acclaim. Among his recent projects, Muktijuddho Pratidin, a daily programme hosted by Nasiruddin Yousuff, is noteworthy. Alim started his career as a journalist at the daily Ittefaq.
