Tofail hospitalised

Awami League presidium member Tofail Ahmed was admitted to Shikder Medical College Hospital at Gulshan last night with complaint of high blood pressure.A staff of the hospital told The Daily Star over phone that family members took Tofail to the hospital at 10:45pm. He is now undergoing treatment at the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at the hospital under Dr Harunur Rashid Bhuiyan. His condition is a bit better now, the staff said wishing anonymity. Tofail Ahmed is one of the leading AL leaders who are working for the ongoing reforms in the party.
