Two of a family killed, 3 injured in Brahmanbaria

Two people were killed and three others injured when a truck hit a microbus at Rampur under Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district yesterday. The dead were identified as Nuru Mia and his son Jillu Mia, 30, of West Mahappur village in Madhappur upazila. Police said the Dhaka-bound truck from Sylhet rammed the microbus at 9:00am, leaving them dead on the spot. The injured identified as Nuru Mia's wife Rahima Khatun, daughter Ramiza Khatun and son in-law Siddique Mia were rushed to the Upazila Health Complex. Nuru Mia and his family members were returning to Habiganj from Zia International Airport in Dhaka by the microbus after receiving his expatriate son in-law Siddique Mia.
