Meril Media Cup football from today

The Meril Media Cup football tournament organised by Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) kicks off today with 24 teams taking part in the seven-a-side competition for journalists.Eight matches will be played on the opening day at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. The eight group winners will play in the quarterfinals on Monday while the semifinals are scheduled for the next day. The final and the third-place deciding match are slated for Thursday. National Sports Council (NSC) secretary Aminul Islam Khan will declare the meet open.
