Baby food for jute workers' families

Jano Uddog, a civil rights organisation, yesterday distributed baby food among the 300 families of retrenched workers of closed People's Jute Mills.

Coordinator of Jano Uddog Khulna city unit Mahendra Nath Sen, CPB leader Advocate Firoze Ahmed, Animesh Chatterjee and Ridoy Sarker were present when the baby food was distributed.

They called upon the affluent people to stand by the side of the hungry children of retrenched workers.
