Artistes raise funds around the city for flood victims

On August 10, members of Television Producers Association of Bangladesh (TPAB), along with TV artistes, gathered at three of the busiest shopping centres in the capital. At Bashundhara City shopping mall, Eastern Plaza and New Market, they asked shoppers to donate money for flood victims.

Noted actor-producer Tariq Anam Khan, secretary of TPAB said, "We are urging everyone in the country to do whatever they can to help flood victims." Khan was receiving donations along with fellow artistes in front of Basundhara City shopping mall.

In front of Eastern Plaza, Dilara Zaman, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Aruna Biswas and others were collecting funds. Actor-producer Shahiduzzaman Selim, joint secretary of TPAB, said, "We have asked all TV artistes to donate money for flood-affected people.
