Bengal Foundation joining hands with Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture, Kolkata held a two-day (September 6-7) celebration programme marking the 150th birth anniversary of renowned poet-lyricist-musician-playwright Dwijendralal Roy. The event, held at the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum, featured discussions and musical performances participated by the discussants and artistes from Bangladesh and India. Noted Bangladeshi artistes Iffat Ara Dewan and Aditi Mohsin (pictured, 2-R) along with eminent Indian singer Swastika Mukhopadhyay performed songs composed by DL Roy, Atul Prasad, Rajanikanta Sen and Dilipkumar Roy on the concluding day (September 7) of the event.
