We don't need heaven on earth!!

A few days ago I heard this joke. A person can have heaven or hell on earth. How? Well, world will be heaven when you will get Chinese food, American salary, Japanese wife and English house. On the other hand, world will be hell when you will get Chinese salary, American wife, Japanese house and English food.

Now, isn't that a real funny joke? But there is a reason why I told you this. We in Dhaka University, living in various student halls, think that the world will be hell when we will get the (in)famous DU hall food. Someone who has the experience of eating that food for years together will understand what I am trying to say here. I cannot really describe how bad the food is. It's true they charge so little price but at the same price TSC cafeteria and DUCSU cafeteria offer much better food! So, I think DU authorities can do something to improve the standard of food in the halls.

So, our message to the authorities is, we don't need heaven on earth (Chinese food), but please, try to give us food of minimum standard! That will be enough for us.
