Sneaker's World

From the court, to the field, to the street, Converse continues to embody the spirit of individuality and creativity for generations of heroes and innovators. Converse has also been, and continues to be, strongly involved in street fashion as it associates its heritage and originality with innovative ideas.

Sneaker's World breaks the shackles of an orthodox 'shoe store' by exclusively show casing original Converse. The store shelves brightly present a myriad range of athletic shoes from Nike to Puma to Adidas, but it is definitely the 'Chucks' that steal the show.

The Converse All Star footwear was first produced in one style, hi, and one colour, black. Years later an assortment of additional colours were produced and Chucks became a fashion statement.

Sneaker's World presents Chucks in endless shades from the ever-popular canvas navy, black and white to raspberry red, light blue, orange, pink, purple, camouflage and also in a variety of materials such as denim, suede, leather and cord. Chucks are also available in lo and hi cuts, and also extra hi.

Upon careful observation of the shoes, one would easily find that the fabric is no longer 2-ply cotton canvas but 1-ply "textile". The 'double tongue' ox can be the choice of the fashion smart ladies, while boys can go for the traditional look with orthodox black Chuck Taylor hi!

The inaugural program of Sneaker's World aptly maintained the upbeat, street fashion factor synonymous to the foot wear. Envisaged by the creative brilliance of choreographer Shahrukh Amin, the fashion show staged on escalators as make-shift ramp connected to the universal, youthful essence of Converse. The mercury level hit high as models climbed up and down the escalator, their flamboyant attires and rocking footwear adding extra heat to the whole ambiance. The statement was pretty clear- Converse is hot, and here to stay!
