check it out Cabaret @ Club 13 Dhaka Regency has introduced a novel entertainment for Dhakaites in the form of "Spot On", a cabaret group from the Philippines, consisting of three singer-dancers and one keyboard player. The event was launched on Saturday, 28 January at the hotel's Club 13. The group will perform from 8pm till 11pm every Saturday through Thursday. “Previously, we hosted Bangladeshi musicians. Spot On is our first foreign act,” informed Zaireen Sultana Lupa, Assistant Manager Brand Communications at Dhaka Regency. The three performers entertained the crowd by singing and dancing to various songs, from Frank Sinatra classics to Macarena to popular Bengali numbers like "Panjabiwala". The guests soon joined in the fun by making their way to the dance floor, keeping true to the cabaret tradition of entertaining as well as mingling with the audience. The group will continue to entertain for three months, the duration of their contract with the hotel. All those with an inclination to “party” should check it out. By STS |
