NEWS FLASH

Gulshan Club Meena Bazar

Ramadan celebrations are now in full swing across the city. As Eid looms closer, the sense of eager anticipation is heightened; the glitzy, ritzy shopping malls and the seemingly infinite number of iftar stalls add up to it.

Just as it has done in years past, Gulshan Club is rejoicing this festive season, keeping up with its tradition of celebrating shopping in its own way. As the shopping fever reaches a crescendo across town, Gulshan Club hosts a three-day Meena Bazaar, which starts today. The indoor Meena Bazaar will be held in the Patio & Lamda Hall of the Club.

The bazaar will offer popular Eid items such as shalwar kameez sets, saris, fancy shoes, magazines and jewellery items. The cherry on the cake is the beautifully tasteful décor of the place, conceived by designer Tootli Rahman.

Rita Husain, a member of ladies & children's affairs at the club, informed that the meena bazar will also sell iftar.

"This is an annual event held by the club. We hold several exciting events throughout the year. We have flower shows, our club's picnic, Kid's Carnival Halloween and children's painting competition on Ekushey February and so on," she further informed.

Therefore, do drop by to check out the fabulous attires and accessories, and sample some of their delectable items from their yummy iftar menu.

The Meena Bazaar will be open from 11 am to 11 pm till August 18.
