And finally, winter…

By mid December, the boutiques of Dhaka will be showcasing their Winter Collections. And Chondan is no different. Yet, like all previous years, they stand apart from the rest with dazzling designs of trendy, fashionable coats for the fashionista and her man.

Beginning 8 December, 2011 Chondon will showcase this year's Winter Collection at their Road # 03, House #9, Gulshan 2 outlet.

Along with the regular winter clothing like shawls, mufflers and warm clothing for both men and women, Chondon will be launching special long coats for ladies. Be it a formal meeting, a family get together or any other social gathering, these coats will suit you everywhere, etching a new style on your unique individuality.

Chondon Dewan, the creative inspiration behind the boutique believes that the coats will compliment any attire eastern -- like the sari, the shalwar suit -- or western. The coat themselves have been cut out from a range of fabrics…cotton to silk, synthetic to pashmina to katan.

Some have satin borders, while others are exclusively done in velvet linings, patch works, zari, appliqué, net, pashmina and others. The price of these exclusively designed clothes ranges between Tk. 6000-15000.

The special winter collection is, however, not limited to long coats. The winter shawls are also something to look forward to with fancy borders in zari, beads, sequins, mirrors, embroideries, blocks, traditional karchupi etc. And each of them has a unique look. The price tag of shawls is from Tk.1200- 5000.

Other than the long coats and shawls, Chondon has underscored its exclusivity with designs of kurtas, shalwar suits, saris, ornaments, dresses and a lot more. The use of fabrics for this range of products has been quite extensive as well, from cotton, silk, tussor, motka, georgette, crepe, katan, etc.

Apart from the attires, the boutique also boasts an array of designer jewellery. Chondon Dewan uses gold-plated materials, silver, bronze and stones.

Chondon also offers a wide selection of men's wear like short coats, prince coats (from Tk. 8000-25000), mufflers, shawls, fatuas, panjabis and much more.
