DPS STS School starts

The inaugural ceremony of DPS STS School Dhaka was held on its campus at Uttara in the city yesterday, says a press release.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated the school while Rashed Khan Menon MP, chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, was the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony.

Khondoker Monir Uddin on behalf of the board of STS Group delivered welcome address.

Home Minister Sahara Khatun, who could not attend the programme due to her post-operative health condition, in a message hoped that the school would build better citizens who will contribute in positive changes of Bangladesh.

DPS STS School Dhaka is a collaborative venture between Delhi Public School Society and STS Group, Bangladesh.
