Fit for a King

A lot of people don't know this, but there is a person with the designation of “Mong King” or “Mong Raja”. His kingdom consists of a bunch of different tribes, spread out over many villages. The current king, Saching, is only 22 years old. He may not have a palace, but it's still not bad for someone his age. Given that the previous king died in a bus accident, one can assume these kings don't have opulent lifestyles. Nevertheless, they have a lot of people working for them and they do collect revenue from their subjects. It's good to see that in this cynical age of fake democracies, there are still people who unabashedly call themselves kings and people who defer to their kings. Turn to our feature story for more.

There are also a couple of cheery stories inside, one about a new paved road that is helping people in innumerable ways and one about a school with a frighteningly high pass rate. Not something those of us who live in the metropolitan are too concerned with, but of great importance to those involved. There's also a pretty cool new short story about the sort of issue that characterises every relationship.
