A business-class hotel in the Nikunja commercial district, Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort is one kilometer from the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone and three kilometers from Zia International Airport.

Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort offers a 24-hour business center, function rooms and a ballroom. The business center provides complimentary Internet access, office equipment, secretarial and other support services. The Grill on the Skyline is a rooftop barbecue restaurant offering panoramic city and airport views. Grandiose Restaurant serves international cuisine, ranging from Italian to Bangladeshi, 24 hours a day. The hotel also offers a relaxing coffee lounge and a hookah bar. Recreational amenities include a day spa, a health club with a variety of cardio and resistance fitness equipment and a rooftop outdoor pool.

The 15-story hotel has 310 guestrooms with city or airport runway views. Guestrooms are decorated in a blend of contemporary style and classic touches, with white bedding and a color palette of shades of rich brown. Wireless Internet access and local calls are complimentary. Additional room amenities include CD players, LCD TVs with satellite channels and international direct-dial phones. Rooms also include minibars, refrigerators and complimentary bottled water. Room sizes vary from a little over 300 square feet to almost 700 square feet. Executive suites also include butler service and breakfast and cocktails in the VIP regency Lounge.

Regency is owned by a group of non-resident Bangladeshis and the hotel is managed by another group of highly efficient professional people who are committed to taking the hotel to a newer height.

Structurally largest, space in Regency has been abundantly distributed among all the areas, from bed rooms to bath, from dining room to lobby. This gives a spacious vista of the interior from all angles.

What makes Regency different? "We give value to money," said Shahid Hamid MIH, General Manager of Regency. He feels one of their strong points is the hotel's ideal location, nearer to the international airport and the EPZs around Dhaka city. Personalised care with the motto of "meet and greet" each guest personally is another unique feature of the hotel, he said.

Zaireen Sultana Lupa, Asst. Manager, Brand Communication, talked about the largest Spa and largest entertainment club in the town besides other modern facilities and amenities offered at the hotel. She also said that among many expansion plans, two more restaurants are coming up soon. One will be a rooftop one offering international cuisine and the other will exclusively offer traditional Bangladeshi food.
