A day at Nandan Park

Mainul Hassan

“We have started our novel quest of doing good for mankind as we have joined the family of professional doctors and frankly speaking this tour to Nandan has boosted our energy, intensified our inspiration and enthusiasm and enhanced our ability to work as a team. These were the worlds of Topon a student from the K 58 batch.

Recently the newly graduated doctors of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) went on a pleasure trip to Nandan Park. The event was sponsored by Aristopharma.

Among the 111 medical students who graduated this year from DMC some 70 students went on the trip. They spent the day playing games in the water world.

Picture Not FoundGame A was finding VC 250 Dour - their were five participants. In this game the participants had to find a pot labelled as VC 250. Fahima became the winner of the round.

Game B featured performances by five teams Axon, Avolac, Proton-P, Ovel and another team. The teams' names were written on dishes and then the dishes were put in the water. The first team to discover all the dishes would be the winner. Team Axon became the winner.

Game C was Bomb Blasting and in this round their were two teams led by Shantu and Flora who shot five water balloons. Shantu's teams won the event.

The last game was a musical ball round and Rezwana won the event.

"Every one enjoyed the event, we simply loved it, loved it very much as it has been a trip worth attending. So many friends got together. I really missed those 41 friends who could not join us," said Flora.

Ivy, Salma, Emila and many others expressed their feelings. On their way back they all sang, "Dinguli Mor Shonar Khachay Roilona…. Sheije Amar Nanan Rager Dinguli"
