How did Nostradamus know it all?

Isn't it mind-boggling that many things Nostradamus said four hundred years ago actually happened? How could he foresee all these events far into the future sitting in his half-lit room in Paris? Many of us have read the book that came out on his predictions. Here is a compilation of some of the latest deciphering of his codes by a professor named Dr. Michael Rathford.

Dr. Michael Rathford has been studying the quatrains of Nostradamus since 1985. Dr. Rathford combines traditional analysis techniques with state of the art data mining algorithms capable of searching the entire library of congress in less than ten minutes. With these tools, he was able to make the significant discoveries that resulted in the book The Nostradamus Code. Below is given excerpts from an article on him that appeared in Live Science. in May 2004, members of the Italian National Library in Rome made an amazing discovery. Buried in their archives was an unknown manuscript written by the famed prophet Michel de Notradame, or Nostradamus (1503-1566). This manuscript was handed down to his son and later donated to Pope Urban VIII. It did not surface again until now, almost four hundred years later.

Due to the pressure and scrutiny of the Inquisition, Nostradamus was forced to scramble both the meaning and the order of his quatrains. He made sure humanity would not be able to use them until we had become sophisticated enough to decode them. That time has finally arrived.

Using cutting-edge data mining techniques, Dr. Michael Rathford sifted this complex word puzzle searching for significant patterns and relationships. Almost immediately, he came up with the predictive model known as The Nostradamus Code.

When the prophecies-within-prophecies are deciphered, the hidden timeline of World War III is revealed. You will read about Osama Bin Laden, the next major terrorist attack on the US, war with Iran, the nuclear destruction of Rome, a confrontation between the US and China/Russia, and great detail on the timing and the course of World War III.

In the book The Nostradamus Code, Nostradamus has talked about:

The identity of the third Antichrist.

Chapter Four: The Time of Troubles
Volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, droughts, famines, rioting (Century IV, Quatrain 67)

The Time of Troubles begins with a period of geological shifts. Frequent earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and disrupted weather systems become the norm. This will cause widespread famines and droughts, and social upheavals in unexpected places. Nations that are considered prosperous and powerful, particularly western nations, will be weakened. They will be torn with civil strife and rioting as people migrate to areas that have water and can support crop-growing. The social upheaval and weakening of political structures will help the Antichrist come to power.
