Dear Maa,
On this day dedicated to the mothers, I have nothing to give you. I don't have money to buy you diamonds; I cannot afford to take you out dining. All I have to offer is this love that has grown inside my heart over these18 years. Only for you.
Starting from the moment I have started to understand the world around me, I have known you as the reason of my existence. You have always been there. You have laughed for me, cried for me; you have been the friend everyone hopes for. You were there to guide me, to ward off my fears, to wipe the tears and share the smiles. You raised me up to more than I could be.
“Hey the sun shines when I see a smile on your face!
My momma, worth all the money and jewels…..
I'd give it all away if I could make your days happy days
And when my heart's broke and I can't cope, I'm coming on home
To remember the reason why I was born
Cuddled up inside your heavenly arms, you help me weather the storm.”
Yesterday, I sat fuming in my room blaming God for all the things he didn't give me, when suddenly a startling realisation hit me: the only dream that mattered had come true: in this life I was loved by you. I'm the luckiest child there is. If you were in my place you would know what I am talking about.
You are the reason I wake up everyday, you are the reason I strive to achieve something more. I want to make you happy and proud of me someday. I want to give you all that you deserve. You have given up your own dreams to build mine. Such devotion is impossible in humans.
“The blood that I bleed flows through your veins….
Even in my lowest point I can still hear your words in my brain
I cannot contest your love so here's my confession…
You are the reason I believe, you are the reason I sing,
You are the reason angels tangle me in heavenly things.
It's been a long road, so hard and cold
But you keepin' me warm with your heart of gold.”
 You are an angel Allah sent on earth to take care of my soul. You are the perfect mother. Allah couldn't have created anything more beautiful.
Each day the sun shines because you love me. And I am thankful for that gift. I love you forever Maa. I might be conceited and stubborn and full of bitterness at times, but I love you more than life itself; and stupid as it may sound, each day I pray to Allah that if he should take one of us, he should also take the other. I cannot imagine life without you.
Thank you for everything that you do. Thanks for watching out for me. Thanks for breaking my falls. Thank you for loving me.You are an angel working on me.
