Students Day 2008 at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College, Sirajganj
STUDENTS Day 2008 was held on 14th November 2008 at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College (KYAMC) organized by the literary and cultural committee of the college with the slogan Mone Amar Manobotar Sheto Shuvro Apron.
More than 500 students participated in this grand occasion. The programme began with a colorful procession. Dr. M.M Amjad Hossain, Chairman, KYAMC inaugurated the ceremony. Among others, Mr. Mahbubul Alam, Editor, The Independent, Mr. Asraf Ali, District Commissioner Shirajgonj, Sayed Istiaq Reza, Chief News Editor ETV, Mr. Shahnoor Wahid, Editor, Star Campus, Mr. Alamgir Hossain, Police Super, Shirajgonj, Mr. A K M Shoaib, President National Debate Federation Bangladesh were present on the occasion as special guests. Prof. Hossain Reza, Principal, KYAMC, presided over the session.
A team consisting ten members participated as guest of honour from National Debate Federation Bangladesh (NDF BD). A Planchet Debate show was held after the inaugural session performed by the guest debater of NDF BD. With a cultural show performed by the students of KYAMC the day long program came to the end.
