On 3rd September the school organized this campaign in its premise where the speakers discussed about the harmful effects of smoking both on health and environment. Principal Safia Ghazi Rahman, a doctor and two patients of Chittagong Medical College Hospital were present among others in the programme. The principal and the doctor talked about what impact smoking has on health and our environment while the patients shared the experiences of their sufferings because of smoking and also answered several questions asked by the students. Later the school authority also donated a token amount for the treatment of those two insolvent patients who shared their experiences and encouraged the students to keep from smoking. The event where the students from Class V- XII participated ended with the short play performed by the students to spread the message of the hazards of smoking and importance of working to help save our earth.
