British Council is searching for Bangladeshis aged between 18 and 35 with innovative ideas to raise awareness and find ways of adapting to climate change through a national competition under the project titled 'International Climate Champions'. This is also a great opportunity for some young people to raise their concerns on effects of climate change and represent Bangladesh in global forums and summits, including the up coming United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in December 2009.

The project ICC was officially launched by the British Ministers Ed Miliband and Douglas Alexander at the British High Commission Club recently.
