Marie Curie School
A Centre for Creative Learning

Background: Marie Curie School was established in 1995. It aims to create the best learning environment for young children and to prepare them for all aspects of their future life beyond school conforming to the requirement of the educational landscape of the 21st century. There is an expectation that the standard of education will continue to rise. Marie Curie School has fulfilled that expectation and is working to upgrade the standard. It enjoys an enhanced reputation as a popular and successful school.

Our Aims: Marie Curie School is a centre for creative learning. It instills creativity and helps develop confidence. It is a unique institution where schooling would be both enjoyable and stimulating for young children. It employs an innovative approach to them to boost their inherent potentials and develop creative thoughts. By fostering a greater understanding of the beliefs and values of the society in which we live, we hope that young people at Marie Curie School will develop feelings of tolerance and compassion towards others.

Marie Curie School has a mission to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, intellectual and physical development within its students and to prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of future life. To enable us to carry this important aspect of our work, we rely on the support of parents and others with a significant influence on young people. The school has well-established links with parents, law and order enforcing agencies, social services, and young leaders. The values of the school are reflected through the formal and informal curriculum as well as our program for co-curricular activities, together with our policies on religious education, health education, special educational needs and equal opportunities to all.

Our Facilities: Marie Curie School is an institution with eco-friendly environment. It is the only institution in Dhanmondi, which has spacious playgrounds in both their campuses. Marie Curie School has highly educated and foreign trained teachers to ensure quality education. It also ensures un-interrupted power supply and fully air conditioned classrooms. Students from Play Group to O' Level have access to use computer labs. Alongside, these facilities transportation is also available for students.

Our Co-curricular Activities: A series of co-curricular activities i.e. science fair, book fair, cultural programs on memorable days, annual sports, graduation ceremony of O' Level students, study tour etc. take place throughout the year. The excitement and enthusiasm generated by these events is enormous.

Our Achievement: Excellent O' Level result (World Highest position in Accounting, 09, almost 100% A Grade in English).
- Obtained 10 A's out of 10 by two brilliant students in 2007 and 2009.
- Obtained highest marks in Bangladesh in English in 2002
