DIIT Day 2010 Observed

DAFFODIL Institute of IT (DIIT), a leading education provider of the country celebrated its 13th anniversary on 7 April 2010. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of DIIT & Daffodil Group formally inaugurated the programme where the chief guest of the programme was Major General (Rtd.) Shubid Ali Bhuiyan, MP, Chairman, Standing Committee on Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resource. The programme was inaugurated with the hosting of the national flag. A grand rally passed through Mirpur Road where thousands of existing and ex-students, teachers, faculty members, management employees took part with
colourful festoons and placards.

The second phase of the programme was for awarding the best students where the students and guardians took part. The chief guest in his speech said that DIIT students will have active participation in building digital Bangladesh. He stated his deep satisfaction on the quality of education provided by DIIT. He also appreciated DIIT student's success in the global exams. Md. Sabur Khan thanked everyone for their support and contribution for the past 13 years. The Deputy Director of DIIT Rathindra Nath Das, Khaled Sohel, Principal In charge, Shakhawat Hossain and the Executive Director of DIIT Mohammad Nuruzzaman along with other high officials of the Daffodil Group were present on the occasion.
