BIT Celebrates Graduation Ceremony 2010

By Bilkis Mansoor

BANGLADESH International Tutorial (BIT) is one of the renowned English Medium Schools known for its high standard of education, has 10 of its own campuses in different locations of Dhaka city. BIT is successfully forging ahead into its 28th years of academic excellence and is recognised for its image locally and internationally.

BIT has organised the Graduation Ceremony 2010 on 30 June for the G.C.E. Ordinary and Advanced Level classes at the auditorium of The Red Brick School at Uttara. All students received their Graduation Certificates. They were accompanied by their friends, teachers, parents and guardians and enjoyed the programme. It was a memorable day for the students, but at the same time sadness prevailed in the thought of having to leave their very own alma mater.

Lubna Choudhury, the founder-principal of BIT said in her speech, “Wherever you go from here, you take the school with you - the ethics and teachings that we have tried to impart to you all these years. Always remember your roots - and hold fast to the motto of the school - to serve the nation.” She also blessed all the students to go out into the world carrying messages of peace, and achieve the ultimate. Saidur Rahman, Country Manager, Edexcel International expressed his concern to the students and encouraged them to work hard in studies for good results. Later, all the students, teachers and guardians enjoyed cultural programmes performed by the students of BIT.
