World Study Destinations

Australian universities have made their mark on the world education map. If the world was to be mapped according to the desirability of a country's education, Australia would have held a considerable size in it. And of the many Australian universities that provide a quality education is Macquarie University. Located at the hustling and bustling city of Sydney, it has made its place in the ranks of a quality university by its teaching quality and facilities. Macquarie even has a Research Park, which is the only private funded research park in Australia. Macquarie is currently ranked as top 9th university in Australia. The university is distinguished due to its innovative curriculum, high-quality teaching and research, and a unique campus environment.

If you are looking for a good post-graduate university to get your degree in, then Macquarie would be the place for you. It is ranked as the top 40th university in the Asia-Pacific region and the third best university to get an MBA degree in. Also, Macquarie graduate starting salaries have been ranked among the highest in Australia according to The Good Universities Guide.

The Asian Development bank describes Macquarie's Master of Applied Finance programme as “exemplary”, and it remains the biggest programme of its type in the world in terms of both students and the staff numbers. There is even a Woman's Representative council present to ensure better integration and fulfilling experience for the university's female population.

There are a few scholarships available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Macquarie University International Student scholarship is presented to undergraduate students on the basis of their academic merit and is highly competitive. The Australia Development Scholarship is available for postgraduate students but is applicable for studies pertaining to some specific courses. Education at Macquarie is a bit expensive. However, Macquarie graduates are highly recruited, thus the degree is worth it. With a combination of excellent location, great teaching quality, and quality education, Macquarie is a good choice well worth its reputation.
