The recent Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) attack on the general students at the Institute of Fine Arts was the latest in a continuous series of JCD atrocities on the Dhaka University campus. After each of these incidents, investigation committees have been formed, but no reports have been made public. The expulsion of one or two troublemakers by the JCD or the university authorities is merely an eyewash that has done nothing to free the campus of politicised terror. |
