It took the death of a fourth grader to bring to the limelight what goes on in many schools in our country even today. Though many refuse to believe it, corporal punishment at school is an everyday affair. The most frightening thing is that, to many, it is actually acceptable. But the repercussions of this practice on children can be devastating.
