Shangri-La Found

Julfikar Ali Manik

Blessed with abundant lush green hills, the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) offer visitors an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From rare butterflies to hornbills, the region epitomises man's love for nature, it celebrates life and declares nature's triumph over machine. Houses on stilts and those who live in them speak of the harmony between man and earth that exists only in the CHT.
