When the Chittagonians are going to cast their votes next week to elect their Mayor, the choice will clearly be between Awami League-backed ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury and Bangladesh Nationalist Party-supported Manjur Alam Manju. Whatever the outcome of the June 17 polls is, it will reshape the future politics of the country, not to mention that of a city, which is the country's economic powerhouse.
