One Wish too Many

1

Everything was just fine.
Perfectly, perfectly fine.
Family,
Friends,
Neighbors,
Strangers.
Cologne,
Chalkboard,
Cheeseburgers.
Content, happy, Certain, predictable.
But then…

You just came crashing in.
Didn't even care to knock.
Touched my emotions,
Looked at my secrets,
Felt my dreams.
You opened all the windows without asking.
Funny enough-
I let you.

2

You plucked me an amber gem
From a charcoal sky.
Showed me an emerald ocean And a cerulean meadow.
Slowly
I grew stronger with your strength
Vivid with your valor
Daring with your dreams.
Prefectness didn't matter anymore.
And when I turned to let you know
You were gone…
Didn't even care to say Goodbye.

And that is how you lost
What you could have ever asked for…

The Husband Shop

A Husband Shopping Centre has just opened, where women can go & choose a husband. The store is comprised of six floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, one catch: you may choose a man from any floor that you are currently on, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down again except to exit the building.

Anyway, a woman goes to the shopping centre to find herself a husband. On the first floor, the sign on the door reads:

Floor One - These men have jobs. Thinking at least that's better than her last boyfriend, she decides to see what is further up. The second floor sign reads:

Floor Two - These men have jobs & love kids. Deciding to continue further up, she passes through the Third floor:
Third floor -These men have jobs, love kids & are extremely good looking

Fourth Floor, where the sign tells her: These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with housework. On the fifth floor she reads:

Floor Five - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with housework and have a romantic streak.

Although severely tempted, she can't help but think what must be for her further on, and so she makes the final step to the sixth floor. Here she also discovers a sign:
Floor Six - You are visitor 123,456,789,012,236 to this floor.

There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Thank you for shopping at HusbandMart and have a nice day.
