Government must move with extreme caution
The move by the government to hold back a proposal for a hike in the price of urea fertiliser is welcome. It is, from our point of view, a wise move considering the ramifications that a fertiliser price rise could have thrown up.

While we take some comfort from the experts' assertion that the spate of illness afflicting female students in many parts of the country is to do more with the mind than anything else, and that no one should panic, the fact remains that the disease, mystery to many since the like of it we have not been exposed to before, it has spread from only one school in Narshingdi to not only other schools of the area but to other districts of the country as well.
